About the role
Synthora AI Labs is looking for an AI Project Manager to lead the planning and delivery of artificial intelligence and generative AI initiatives. This role bridges business requirements, project execution, and technical delivery. You will work closely with AI engineers, developers, customers, and leadership teams to take AI projects from initial requirements and proof of concept through development, testing, deployment, and production readiness. The ideal candidate understands traditional project management while also being comfortable discussing AI concepts such as large language models, agentic AI, RAG, and enterprise AI integrations.
What you will do
- Own end-to-end delivery of AI and generative AI projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, schedules, and deliverables.
- Translate business requirements into structured implementation plans.
- Coordinate AI engineers, developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
- Manage proof of concept, pilot, and production implementation phases.
- Track project dependencies, risks, blockers, and technical challenges.
- Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, project meetings, and customer discussions.
- Maintain project plans, status reports, action trackers, and decision logs.
- Coordinate data, infrastructure, integration, and deployment requirements.
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve delivery risks.
- Communicate project status clearly to customers and leadership.
- Ensure teams remain aligned with business objectives and customer expectations.
- Support resource planning and prioritization across multiple initiatives.
- Work with engineering teams to establish realistic timelines for AI experimentation and implementation.
- Ensure projects meet agreed quality, security, and delivery expectations.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience in technology project management or software delivery.
- Strong understanding of the software development life cycle, and strong planning, coordination, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- Experience with project-management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, ClickUp, Asana, or similar platforms.
Nice to have
- Experience managing AI, machine learning, data science, or generative AI projects.
- Understanding of large language models, RAG, agentic AI, and AI application development.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Exposure to enterprise software implementations.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or a similar certification is an advantage.
